近日美国知名云计算提供商DediPath的大量客户在八月底突然收到邮件宣称平台即将停止运营，该存疑邮件宣称“DediPath将于 2023 年 8 月 31 日起停止运营，请您尽快迁移数据并做好备份”，但是DediPath官网以及各公开平台上未发现任何关于此事件的公告或说明，该邮件是通过营销自动化平台MailChimp发布的。与此同时，部分邮件终端警告“无法验证该电子邮件是否确实来自Dedipath”，经过草根吧VPS多方验证以及向官方客服寻求此事件的真伪，官方网站的客服消息默认回复了和邮件通知内容类似的信息：“我们想通知您有关 DediPath 服务的信息。我们怀着沉重的心情宣布 DediPath 将于 23 年 8 月 31 日停止运营。请您尽快迁移数据并做好备份。”这意味着Dedipath会在十几个小时之内停运。客户应该立即备份数据，因为现在无法确认服务器会在何时停机，像Dedipath这种知名度的服务商会以如此之快的速度迅速倒闭令人震惊。
